Avalomhilly

Battle Aide

  • "provides a practical board with 360 degree enviorment, and actions compatible with the D20 rules. "

BYOND Tabletop Gaming

  • Provides a secure chatroom, powerful dice features, and shared virtual sheets.
  • homepage still online in 2019, but front page haven't been updated since 2003.
  • Project seem to have discontinued or morphed over the years into a mor general MUD/RPG/game-sharing software that seems to have still have activity and users in 2019 at byond.com

Epical Online

  • online VTT for play ttrpgs in the browser
  • The Web Archive have a functioning snapshot of the homepage www.epicalonline.com from 2014.
  • According to the facebook page's last post in August 2015, "it's taking a lot longer to restore this project as we hit a dead end with it and a few Financial problems but do not worry this project will not end." This is the last online activity found of the Epical, as no working snapsots of homepage exists after 2014.

GlitterComm

  • Windows only VTT software, 6.5mb
  • txt chat, dicerolling, maps, hp & initiative tracking
  • Home page had last post in 2009, Web Archive found last working snapshot of homepage from 2014

RPG Tonight

Scene Grinder

  • browser-based VTT to play ttrpgs, seemed to have maps, dynamic lighting, chat & integrated dice roller. Supported Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Chrome.

TabletopZen

  • online VTT project focusing on tabletop & boardgame aspects than for playing TTRPGs.
  • Project had a demo on Youtube in 2015 that seems fairly well made, but no activity beyond this have been found.
  • The Web Archive have a functioning snapshot of the homepage tabletopzen.com from 2016.

weRole.com

  • "Includes live audio and video chat", "no need for install"
  • The Web Archive have a functioning snapshot of the homepage from www.werole.com/ 2011.
  • had a free, $5 player subscription, and $10 DM subscription option pricing
  • Ran on Flash in the browser
  • twitter active last time in 2010.

  • Windows-only. The site is no longer available.
